photographs made with a digital camera. It can be used to
transfer images from a digital camera

Dynamic album support
Photo Album Helper is aimed to users of dynamic photo albums such as the
Light Development Photo Gallery.
For dynamic photo albums a production process is required where images are transferred, processed and published
in a few simple steps comparable to the process with static albums with the only difference that the process
does not require production and upload of static HTML pages.
Transfer with a mouse click
In a first step images are transferred from camera storage. Photo Album Helper supports this process in the
way that it allows to maintain an incoming directory and a storage directory. It can be set to rename and backup
image files during transfer and to create subdirectories in the incoming area to automatically organize
storage structure.
Reduce images lossless
To view a digital image on the screen does require significantly less resolution
than provided by a digital camera or scanner. Images from digital cameras can be
reduced in quality and size without loss of display quality conserving bandwidth and
storage requirements of web photo albums at the same time.
Publish albums instantly
Images are published online automatically. Photo Album Helper implements an FTP publishing process
where processed image files are transferred to your preferred storage. A generic file transfer interface
can be used or extended to own custom needs.
