Save your JavaHelp Document as PDF
DocAnywhere lets you convert your help sets in JavaHelp format
to PDF!
Simply select a help set file (.hs) as the source and specify
a name for your new PDF document. DocAnywhere will produce a
PDF file with identical content and format.
Identical Table of Contents
The table of contents is created similar to the one
found in the help set.
The PDF TOC can be used as in the
help set i.e. clicking an entry opens respective chapter.
Preserves links
Internal and external links are preserved so that
references can be visited out of the PDF file with a single
click as in the help set or web browser.
Header and Footer, Page Numbering
DocAnywhere lets you add a header or footer
in customizable font and size. Optionally a page number
can be appended. The header or footer can be hidden on
the first page when desired.
Limitations
Although DocAnywhere reads any HTML it mainly focuses on transformation
of HTML text documents rather than web pages.
See also
respective topic in the manual for further discussion.
The application has been tested with documens produced by
SimplyHTML. If you have trouble
with a certain help set please send in
the help set in question along with the resulting PDF for
an analysis.
