Welcome to the homepage of Ulrich Hilger (more). This is where I publish my personal
work in the field of software development.
Java development
My main activities are in the development of Java applications and
class libraries that I require personally and which I publish as
open source
for others to use when done.
Fields of interest
As I use solely Java on the client and on the server, my solutions include server
and communication software as well. On the client I like Swing based rich clients.
On the server I use plain old Java objects (POJOs) that clients talk to typically
using HTTP and XML-RPC.
Sharing my toys
I simply love to share my toys and consequently
like to hear any feedback you might have on them.
Current and most recent activities
I am in the process to change part of the content found here. So please be patient
with me in terms of dead links or outdated content while the refurbishment lasts.
Currently in the make are new releases of the file management packages (
server, manager and
file system) as well as the SAM package.
Along with the next release of SAM I guess
I will open source the XML package too.
I also did some work on Playlist Editor but it will still take
some time for a new
release.
